Welcome to Mont Horeb YOUTH Ministry, a place where our young people includes individuals brimming with unique talents and gifts.
Within our community, you’ll find artists, musicians, thinkers, and athletes, each contributing their distinct abilities to our shared journey. Each person adds their unique skills to what we do together. Whether it’s creating art, playing music, exploring big ideas, or excelling in sports, everyone brings something special to our group. It’s a place where we value and celebrate these differences, making our community richer and more interesting because of them.
Our Friday Bible study serves as a cornerstone where these diverse talents come together to delve into meaningful discussions, share perspectives, and deepen our understanding of faith. We guide each individual, regardless of their background or prior knowledge, in understanding the Bible’s teachings and applying these lessons to our everyday lives. Through interactive sessions, we explore the stories, teachings, and messages of the Bible, encouraging personal reflection and discussions on how it relates to our everyday life. It’s a place where questions are welcomed, and together, we learn how the timeless wisdom of the Bible can shape our decisions, actions, and relationships for the better.
Beyond this, our ministry hosts various activities throughout the week, such as prayer calls and end of the month Saturday service, providing avenues for exploration and growth, ensuring every individual finds their place to thrive and contribute within our close-knit community.

On Saturday 6th September 2025, Mount Horeb Youth Ministry hosted an incredible Fundraising Fun Day at Burgess Park — and what a day it was!
With an afternoon full of sunshine, smiles, and meaningful connection, families from across the community came together to enjoy:
🍔 Delicious barbecue and snacks
⚽ Exciting football matches
💅 Henna and hair braiding stations
🎨 Face painting and creative activities
🎶 Live entertainment and games for all ages
All proceeds from the day are going directly towards the construction of our new church hall — a space that will serve as a home for worship, learning, and community outreach.
We’re so grateful to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make this event a success. Your support brings us one step closer to building a space that will bless generations to come.

This lively and insightful debate encouraged generational understanding, tackled challenges, and offered practical solutions to strengthen family bonds.

The year closed with the powerful 2nd Edition of the Annual Youth Event on Saturday 21st December 2024, themed “I Established You” (Jeremiah 1:5-6).
This special evening featured games, a dynamic praise and worship session, a compelling word from the speaker — our Youth Leader Sister Paulinette — and free food and drinks for all attendees. The atmosphere was charged with gratitude and spiritual renewal as the youth reflected on God’s purpose and calling over their lives.
This impactful event served as both a celebration of the year’s achievements and a spiritual recharge going into 2025.
On Saturday 17th August 2024, MHYM hosted its annual Sports Day and BBQ Fun Day at Eythorne Park, London.
The event brought together young people, families, and church members for a vibrant day of outdoor games, friendly sports competitions, and delicious food. Activities ranged from football to classic group games, promoting teamwork and unity within the youth community. The afternoon was a joyful and energetic gathering that strengthened bonds of fellowship and encouraged healthy lifestyles, all while enjoying the sunshine and laughter.
On Sunday 14th July 2024, Mont Horeb Youth Ministry held a dynamic youth-focused programme under the theme “Enjoy Your Youth” (Ecclesiastes 11:9).
Led by Sister Bethany, Sister Keren, and Sister Jemima, the event aimed to inspire young people to embrace and enjoy their season of youth with wisdom and purpose. The session featured powerful discussion and testimonies, encouraging personal reflection and fellowship.
The youth left feeling motivated and grounded in their faith journey, with a fresh perspective on living fully in Christ during their formative years.
